As a multimedia artist, her paintings and installations have focused on art, creativity, health, and cultural politics. Her dual disciplines, producing films and creating compelling artwork, were recently woven together and featured in a show organized by the Global Art Affairs Foundation. Smith’s exhibit, The Art of Impermanence, was highlighted at the Palazzo Mora  during the Venice Biennale. The show brings together noteworthy artists from around the world to heighten awareness about philosophical themes in contemporary art.

Available as director, producer, field producer, interviewer, art director and/or second camera. Generally,

clients utilize Vanessa Smith’s services early on in the life of a project to assist in choosing locations, the

creative direction, planning and conducting interviews straight through the editing process and post production.
